Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Found a Cross website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
Description of Service
Found a Cross is a faith-based platform that allows users to register and track the journeys of physical crosses distributed around the world. Users can register crosses they find, share messages, and connect with our community.
User Accounts
Account Creation
You may create an account to access additional features of our Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
- You must not share your account credentials with others
User Content
Content You Submit
Our Service allows you to submit content, including messages, notes, prayers, and location information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with our Service.
Content Standards
You agree that your User Content will not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Include hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Contain explicit, obscene, or offensive material
- Promote violence or illegal activities
- Contain spam, advertising, or commercial content

Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content standards.
Cross Registration
Anonymous Registration
You may register a cross find without creating an account. Anonymous registrations require a display name and location. The information you provide will be publicly displayed on our platform.
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when registering a cross find. Intentionally providing false information may result in removal of your submission and potential account suspension.
Acceptable Use
When using our Service, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated means to access or collect data from our Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our Service
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use our Service for any unlawful purpose
- Transmit viruses or other malicious code
